On 22 Jul 1698, the administration of the goods of Daniel Micklethwaite of Ingbirchworth in the Parish of Penistone, deceased intestate, was granted to John Micklethwaite, son of the said deceased. An inventory of above £40 was exhibited and a bond was entered. In the will of Josias Micklethwait JM1831 he refers to his nephew in law Joshua Twigg JM1027E and to his nephew John Micklethwait of Ingbirchworth JM1027B which tells us that Josias JM1831 and Daniel JM1027 were brothers.
